Course Objectives

Pedagogy & Teaching Methodology

The programme follows a communicative and learner-centered approach that emphasizes practical application of language skills. Trainees are trained in innovative teaching methods such as interactive discussions, role-plays, group activities, storytelling, language games, and audio-visual presentations.

Special focus is given to communicative language teaching (CLT), task-based learning, and activity-oriented instruction to make English learning engaging and meaningful. Students learn lesson planning, classroom management, assessment strategies, and the effective use of teaching aids and digital tools. Teaching practice sessions, demonstrations, and school internships provide real classroom experience and help trainees refine their instructional techniques.
